Lakenheath has a range of strategies including non-incremental and incremental approaches. Working closely with the customer, together we decide on the direction, sequence, and granularity of the steps. This avoids test and development overlap. Our engineers view the sequence and scaffolding as part of the system release and collect data on faults detected in the field to modify the integration sequence and test error-prone parts of the system - complex and integrated on multiple levels (unit, component, system, system of systems).


There are many examples of how well Lakenheath understands integration and where we were able to encourage and facilitate active participation of the customer in the end-to-end testing process. The total operational architecture, including all the segments of the system already fielded, are included in end-to-end tests to verify system integration success.
